Stuart's salon has been at the forefront of the hairdressing world for 16 years, styling hair for a variety of household names including Janice Dickinson, Caprice, Bridgitte Neilson, Chris Noth (sex & the city), Ronnie Woods, Beverly Knight, Micha Paris, David Seaman, Jamie Oliver, Jaime Murray, Jonathon Ross, Ivana Trump, Jayne Krakouski, Jean-Claude Van Damme, Girls Aloud and The Hoff himself! Stuart began his hairdressing career at the age of 16, training at Vidal Sassoon. After qualifying aged 19, Stuart travelled to Australia and worked as an International Hair Stylist in Sydney's top hair salons. His travels then took him to Asia, including Japan and Indonesia, where he developed his knowledge and experience in the art and methods of holistic hairdressing. This approach inspired Stuart to open his own salon in the UK offering an eclectic mix of eastern versus western style, which has helped him win various accolades including awards from L'Oréal Professional 'Colour Trophy Award for London' and Cosmopolitan magazine's ‘Outstanding Talent in British Hairdressing' award. It comes as no surprise that Stuart Phillips is at the heart of London's style scene. Stuart and his award winning team are continually frequented by a-list celebrities at his state of the art salon, situated opposite the exclusive Covent Garden Hotel and adorned with 23,000 selectively placed Swarovski crystals. Stuart's creative talents and high standards have now elevated him to become a leading face within his profession. He has been the official hairdresser to the Television BAFTA's, for three consecutive years, where he worked his magic in styling hair for the nominee's at the Television Awards, he also styled at the National Television Awards, British Comedy Awards, British Soap Awards and was the personal hairdresser and stylist to ITV's Dancing on Ice with Torvil & Dean. Stuart can regularly be found frequenting the latest a-list party or celebrity event as well as contributing to all areas of the media, being interviewed and demonstrating his styling talents on the likes of GMTV, Day Break, Sky News and Living TV. Star-studded lifestyle aside, Stuart's driving passion will always be to create breathtaking styles in his luxurious salon surroundings offering clients a unique personal service.
